We had a lot problems with the second Patch of 6.5 so we reinstall mercator 6.5.1 !
But on different points we had problems by receiving messages from queues (IBM MQ Series) and we could fix some of it by using -REFRESH x ! Choose the x not to low because loosing performance !

I have a Series of object which i test to be present in a Oracle Table.
In the Serie there could be more then one of a object, so there could be 1000 of the same object.
Normaly the object is present in the DB, but if there i a new object in the serie, i write a record to the database with that...
On an output card function, i want to update 24 specific filds in an Oracle Database.
For each Update i use the dblookup in the function pannel.
This means that the card have to make a connection to the database for each dblookup, so this are 24 connection which make the map processing...
The probem is that during reading form the input queue, Mercator stopps reading out messages, and just leave them in the queue !
It is a input queue, so i use only the -QN option !
Wenn doing the same without having the queue in the MQ Cluster, every message will be processed !

Without clustering everything works fine !
We use Mercator 6.5 on Unix Solaris 5.3 !

There is a problem by getting all *.xml files from a folder as input at a specific time.
So, i have an input card 1 (with Source Event) that receive a start file at a specific time.
The input card 2 has as input a file folder ../*.xml. On this card there is no source event.

I have a Queue (MQ Series) where during the day, all messages stay in this Queue.
At midnight (00:00) i want a map to read out all messages.
For this reason, the map has a Time Event, every day at 00:00.
Now when the map starts at midnight, the map just get one message and leafe all the others...
