I think your both in the right area as there is something funny going on when logging in. The strange bit is, it only happens on one Pc. If they log into another one they have no problems. But I'll check out this area and see what I can find. Ta

I'm afraid not Greg. The system reports no problems and everything is enabled for use and running correctly according to Device Manager. In "Sounds.." everything is ticked for USE as well. Initially on reboot after the restore under sounds in the Device Manager a windows wdm device...
