    what happens when you boot into safe mode? If there is no way of backup, I am sure a reinstall of XP would work. Just don't format and that would leave all your data intact.

    I don't think you will expierence a long boot. Insert the new drive and power on. The drive should automatically rebuild. Check your array manager for status.

    easiest way is to use a external network card. It would be the most inexpensive route.

    update: you have to install this application with the local administrator account. That was weird, I had domain admin rights. oh well

    yep, use data and voice vlans. QOS profiles would need to be set. A well config dhcp will need to be set on your network. Which networking gear will you be using?

    Ah ha, after much research here some commands that could help you in find the ip address from a mac: sho fdb <mac address> sho iparp sho ipfdb I guess i started to panic and I needed help asap. lol

    Router advice appreciated

    Personally i am fan of SOHO Sonicwall routers. Bit on the pricy side, but well worth it. Easy to setup for corporate and home use.
