okay when a user logs into the network the logon script runs and closes but a box still apears saying "please wait while windows nt logon scrip exacutes"... and just sits there until the user hits cancle... any ideas on how to solve this issue????

Having a problem with a Lexmark Laser Printer on a Widows 2000 Network, atleast once a day the printer seems to lock up with jobs in the queue restart the pint job and starts working. they are all diffrent size jobs from .5MB to 5MB cannot understand what is couseing.....

okay i have a same issue and what i found is that when you looses your connection Stop & Start the RRAS service, disconnect both LAN connections then start the "Internet connection" Give it 20 sec. then start your local LAN connection ..

when i set the user up on the workstation i set the user as administrator, if i log the user off the network and log on local machine with the same username and password it works fine, but this is the error when they try are connected to the network.

how do you grant user permissions so they have access to install there own software on the local machine, keep getting error message "you do not have proper permissions"
are you useing a logon script, if so check your logon script for the error, but it sounds more like the workstation is tring to access a file that no longer exist.
No logon script, in the create user profile box, it has an option for a homedrive and maps a drive when the user logs on the domain, it works for 2000 professional workstation but it will not map a drive for 95,98, and ME.
With NT4 it maps a drive in 95,98.
