Ok, i have the most weird issue.
I had a sbs2003 server running now for over 1 year without any real issues. Last weekend i decided to reinstall the server completely. All went ok, no issues whatever during the setup but now i am really stuck with the following problem.
The internal modem...
Take a look at the POP3 connector possibilities this should give you the ability to retreive mail from your local ISP and distribute it locally on your exchange server.
The "rooie poon"....is never alone
I am setting up a SBS2003 server.
I am able to receive mails from all adresses but as soon as i sent mail from a client to the exchange server it places the outgoing messages in the SMTP connector queue and they simply stay there.
Noting is send out and the only thing i get is the:
The...
And to keep this topic readable i am posting these test results separate.
Summary of McAfee strengths
1. Comprehensive detection of ALL threats, not just so-called 'in the wild' threats.
Isolates the threat before it gets the chance to spread.
2. Advance protection from new threats, using...
OK..
since i started this thread i might as well keep on filling it :)
here's the info i just received from my NAI contact.
I hope this helps some of you guys in choosing your corporate AV vendor. I know that EPO does the job better (at least for me) then Symantec's CE8.1 but know i have some...
thanks for your reaction ReallyTallCupboards.
Would you happen to know if there are any independent reviews about both products?
Since we are using EPO for over 2 years now i am aware of the support of NAI. When i have a important issue i always use my direct contacts (either the Territory...
Well,
i wish i had a clear answer for you on that.
Unfortunately i don't and i am having the same problems.
I contacted my Territory Manager Corpotate about this and he did send over a Senior Systems Engineer.
He also couldn't solve the issue and reported this back to the Nai Developers. So i...
As far as i know you can also use the SQL tools to change / create / review any accounts made in the MSDE database without any problems.
That's how i generated a single point of reporting for 3 separate MSDE Epolicy databases running on 3 separate servers.
Could by a tip for some of you guys...
Are you using sub-groups and/or IP based administration in your EPO console ?
If so this is causing you to see systems more then once in you console when you update your domain.
The "rooie poon"....is never alone
Yes there is,
simply make the client a super agent (you do this within the Epolicy console) and the client will then have a local repository enabling other clients (and the client itself) to retreive any updates from this machine rather then connecting to a EPO sever.
Hope this helps you...
Ok..here is my problem.
I am responsible for AV-covering about 200 servers + 2500 workstations spread over Europe.
Until a few weeks ago I used to cover/manage all systems with Epolicy. This worked great so I wasn't planning on switching to anything else.
Management however is thinking about...
Well from what i heard a update on EPO 3.0.1 planned for release Q1 2004 will contain ThreatScan (or at least a part of it) integrated in EPO.
This should give you (and me) the option to actually find
rogue machines and deploy the EPO-Agent to them from the EPO console.
Untill then i am...
AVChap,
today i tried to configure the Crystal Enterprise software.
But i allways get prompted for a password for the ePO_snceponoam1 database. I can't seem to find out what this password could be.
Also (if i just ignore this password question) i am asked to provide about 15 separate report...
OK,
but would you happen to know (or happen to have) some documentation about setting this up. Since i have never worked with Crystal Report Enterpise before.
If not, thnx anyway for the advise
Grtz
De rooie poon....is never alone
AVChap,
sorry to bring up such an old item but:
would you happen to know if EPO 3.0 still fails the possibility of automated reporting/exporting to html?
I also would like to setup automated reporting to html format for web publishing so if you have any information for me?
thanks in advance...
