Hello to all...
Do you know if yo can change the AUX ID of the system without having to go thru the upgrade procedure?
May be thru the PDT using the address pointers?

All,
Is it possible to transfer the Telephone Book on one DECT handset to another DECT handset?
I have trawled the NTPs, but the only info I found is how to transfer the Redial or Callers list to the Telephone Book on the same handset.
Any info is appreciated.

All,
Can I bar incoming calls based on the incoming CLI?
A user wants calls from one specific tel nbr to be barred.
I don't think it can be done, but would appreciate your guidance..
Thanks in advance
Jimbo
dlesap,
I tried that on the MARP and non-MARP, but without success:
SCH0369
Function conflicts with existing call arrangement.
Any further ideas?
Tks

All,
Our customer has 2 DECT handsets with the same DN.
But they want SCR feature, i.e. when 1 handset is in use any subsequent calls should get busy tone.
Can this be done with DECTs?
Your advise is appreciated.

Jimbo
All,
I have limited knowledge of Symposium, so pls bear with me...
Calls are routing OK (via Time of Day/Menus etc) except that instead of calls routing to the skillset assigned to the CDN, it appears that calls are being presented randomly to any agent within the ACD group.
We had...
All,
I am not familiar with Call Pilot, so would appreciate yr assistance.
We recently had an issue with the Virtual Memory on Call Pilot which we have now resolved, but we want to ensure that this is always sufficient. Is there a way to measure utilisation and keep a check of available...
Guys,
Thanks for the info - there were auth codes already set up! So I have now printed the LD 88 info and
I have now added two more codes.
Is there anything I need to add/change on the phones to allow them to use the authcodes?
The FFC is already set up.
Again - many thanks
Jimbo
All,
We have a customer who wants a couple of DNs to only be able to access PSTN by using auth codes. All other times calls are to be restricted to internal & emergency nbrs only.
I have never set up auth codes before so would appreciate an idiots guide on how to do it.
Many Thanks
Jimbo
All,
Many thanks for the replies. I will be keeping them all! A little light reading for the weekend!!
I'm still not sure how a PBX set to standalone (STDA) will time sync with the carrier network, but I will need to read up on this.
Once again, many thanks.
Have a good Easter.

All,
Hopefully a simple query this time...
I have an I2004 with two MARP DNs on it, but I only want the DN on key 0 to callforward. The other DN is on key 3 and is an 'ex directory' DN for exclusive use. How would I callforward key 0, but not the DN on key 3?
As ever, any advise is much...
John,
We do not use Procom at all. The sites are all 'stand alone' and have no interconnects, they only have carrier network.
If I read the NTPs correctly, we will have to monitor the drift over a period to ascertain the drift, then do the 'correction' in LD2, so the clock is adjusted...
All,
We have a number of sites, where the PBX time 'drifts'.
Is there a way ensuring the system time is always correct, so we don't have to log in to correct the sys time?
Thanks in advance
Jimbo
All,
We have a number of sites where the system time 'drifts' which means every now and again we have to correct it.
Is there a means of getting the system time to lock onto the carrier network and get the system time from that?
Pls advise. Tks.
Jimbo
