freezing still after having wiped and reinstalled windows 2000 pro
have checked all that have even unpluuged all extra accesories apart from mouse, keyboard and printer had to install modem, printer, sound and internal modem after installing windows but probelm remained still. I am at a loss as to what to try next. Thankyou though for for your thoughts...- moonshadow036

You may have my earlier post asking how to wipe my disk and reinstall windows 2000 professional. Have now done that but still have exactly same problem in that computer is frezing and locking up leaving no way to exit other than reboot and somtimes not even that but to swich mains switch...- moonshadow036

how do i wipe my drive so that i can install a fresh copy of operating
I am having major probelms with windows 2000 professional. While on the web my computer is constantly locking up and the only way to free it is by pressing the reboot key somtimes that deosnt even work and i have to swich off at mains. The power swich deosnt work and i then have no keyboad...- moonshadow036
