When you reply to some messages an attachment will appear automatically. Turns out that it is attaching the profile temp file.
This behavior will stop if you go into Options and change any setting. It will then start again randomly with another message.

The error is generally caused by another VPN client, adapter, or firewall software on the client machine.
For Windows 2000 make sure that the IPSec Policy Agent is set to Client [respond only].

Next option is to export the key from a working XP install then import it again. Not ideal but it does work.
Seems quite strange that the install is looking for a key that it is supposed to be writing.
Another fix is to add a DNS combo to the network connection properties. Put the ISP (External) DNS server as the primary and the Network (Internal) as the secondary. Other way will work also.

It's using the computer name as host name and not recognizing it. There is not "connect as" in ME.
If you are using a static DNS, the host name will be grabbed from there. Change the host name there to match the account and domain.
If DNS is dynamic the host name will be coming...

Delete the Program FilesCommon FilesInstallShieldEngine folder and then rerun the setup.
