I seem to be getting a very high number of discards on a few ports on my switch. I have checked and the config looks good to me. Anyone have any troubleshooting tips for this?
With the router in between running NAT the public side of the router will have to be aware of the DNS server and have a static NAT entry to it. Then you can use Simple DNS Plus.
Printing from straight TS2k is a nitemare. There are alot of programs out now that handle all printing to all printers for you. No drivers ever. I use New Moon Canaveral IQ www.newmoon.com but there are tons of them at www.thethin.net

It is a license issue but it is on the client side. This can happen due to an expired trial license or just about any other reason files get corrupt in Windows. In any case to clear it you have to delete the client license registry entry on the client. Gonna have to reg hack.

If you just put the user in Domain users does this still happen? I cant imagine it is the group itself, that error is typically DNS,WINS,or hardware related.

3 steps I know work here for me, hope they help
1.Go to LAN/Dial up connection make sure the sharing box is checked.
2.Configure the other machines with 192.168.0.(2-254)
Subnet is 255.255.255.0
3. Set the default gateway and DNS servers to 192.168.0.1

I need to move my Terminal server into our newly created WIN2k domain, but the license server will not respond after I join it to the new domain. Im sure this is a quick and easy one...... but I cant come up with it. Any ideas??
