Hi Guys, I want to make the clients (Windows XP) shutdown at a certain time and do not want to allow logon to the domain for a certain time. I have put up the logon hours for the user. But how do I force the clients to shutdown at a certain time ?

I too tried with playing with the policy settings. The policy settings do not come into effect unless and until the GPO is linked and enabled to the Domain and Group and also it works only after I restart the server everytime after I make some changes to the GPO.

I dont want to disable the Domain Admin account. I just want to disable the admin account on the Client side. Is there a way to do it ?

I reinstalled the 2003 again. It worked this time.
