You can use NTBackup to backup the store, either to tape, or a local file or a network location. Run 'ntbackup', expand the 'Mirosoft Exchange Server' object, expand the server, and check the store. Matt

This probably is no help, but as far as I was aware, the login id needs to be the aliasname. If you have a different alias in exchange from the user id in the domain, you can experience login difficulties.
