Hi,
I wasn't sure which forum I should post my question in, but this looked like the most relevant.
My problem is regarding Cisco ACS v4.1.
I have 2 of these on the network, one at the main HQ site, and one in our DR site. One in running on Windows 2000 server, the other on Windows 2003...
Hi,
I was remoting a pc in work today via VNC and the thing just seemed to lock up on me. I tried to click the start menu and "my computer" but nothing. Now I can't access it via VNC or any other means, which means i'm going to have to physically go and power it down, which is really annoying...
Hi,
I have 30 or so PC's that run various application tasks under Wintask. Currently 3 every half an hour or so using Windows 2000 professional as the o/s.
To overcome such things as memory leaks and network loss, they are set to reboot at a certain time everyday.

I have got a Cisco 3640 router connected to an ISDN PRI line. When anyone tries to authenticate via this router, I get an engaged tone on the line. Provider has checked the line and, suprise, suprise, no fault found.
Is it worth running a debug on the router to see if everything is OK with it...
Slowness to the servers at the core. The servers at the core aren't in a VLAN they are in one single collision domain so go through a couple of routers before hitting there destination
I have just had a look at the config for the VLAN and it shows zero as the number of broadcasts. I have ran a protocol analyser in the past and it didnt bring anything to my attention that was untoward.
any ideas ?
From what I am being told its just the VLAN with the users on it. Fibre is working ok from what I can see.

All appropriate ports are...

In response to your question........
It is layer 2 trunking and no one end doesn't go inactive, it's always displayed as fast ethernet up, line protocol up at either end.

Hi all,
I am running a 100MB fibre LAN extension to one of my remote sites. Ever since it has been installed it hasn't been working correctly. At the remote site the link is going into a Cisco 3550, at the core a 2950.
From what I can see everytime there is a topology change on the network...
Hello
Could anyone tell me what the following command means please.
hold-queue 75 in command
And if I don't have this command in my ISDN interface setup on my Cisco router, would this prevent the ISDN backup launching once I loose connectivity to the serial line ?
Thanks

Hi All,
I have a Microsoft Intellimouse (Optical), that I am trying to get to work in Windows 2000 Professional (SP3), but it just won't have it.
It is a USB mouse. Windows detects the mouse but it shows it as an unknown device. I have installed the latest drivers etc etc but still no joy.
