So you should upgrade to Enterprise edition.

Can you tell exactly if you controller is an HSZ80 or an HSG80....your error message is telling HSZ but in you text your telling us HSG.
If that's the case, maybe you didn't installed the good drivers but..... your the only one to know.
1. First of all. RAID 0 isn't used for a robust need. It's used for perfomance. You just add risks to get a disk failure. If you really want to use two (2) spindles, you need a RAID 0 + a RAID1 of your RAID 0. So this is commonly called a RAID 0+1 or RAID10 (need at least 4 disks)

If you don't get any decent speed at all, change (force) your adapters to half-duplex on the machines and the switch. Auto-detect provides you the ability to auto-detect the media...

Just remove the compression directive in your save set.
If you backup NT stuff....check NT without compression. The hardware compression will be use instead of the software one's.
Is there anybody who have a white paper on how to backup a Legato co-standby cluster. We have 3 f them and one is for file&print, one for MSSQL 7.0 and the last but not the least, our MSExchange cluster.
Do we backup each node as a single server or do we backup the virtual services ??
