I have actually resolved this myself, but thanks for all the answers. Here's how I did it:
1) Downloaded a file from the web that makes a set of 6-disk set for booting Windows XP. I forget the exact URL, but there are a few sites that have these. This particular one was a 4MB file that...
Hi all --
I have gotten my PC into a big mess. It's a long story, but now I have fresh installs of both Windows XP Pro and Windows 2000 Pro on the same partition (my C: drive, primary partition) running in NTFS.
I already have a WIN2K partition from before (my D: drive, a logical partition)...
but could I convert an entire HTML file like the one below to the format you described while still keeping all of the tags >>>
<HTML>
<HEAD>
<TITLE>title</TITLE>
</HEAD>
<BODY>content</BODY>
</HTML>
As for getting it to work in all browsers:
http://www.wsabstract.com/javatutors/dynamiccontent5.shtml is an excellent example of cross-browser dynamic content (NS4,NS6,IE)!!
All you need to do is to add a <SELECT> box functionality to it.
WOW !
That's great.
How can I move the "You have selected: option #" text strings into outside files (e.g. each dynamic piece of HTML would be called up from an external HTML file) ??
In addition, I bet this script could somehow be made to work with IE, NS4, and NS6 (see...
This one doesn't fit in either.
I DON'T need two <SELECT> boxes, just one.
When a visitor chooses something in that single <SELECT> box, the *HTML content* (e.g. text, images, etc.) to the right of that <SELECT> box should change.
Andriy.
Kind of. This takes you to a different page upon selection. I would like something that changes part of the same page upon selection.
See the beginning of this post for *precisely* what I'm trying to do (with illustrations):

Thx. Andriy.
It's close but not there.
The point is for the *HTML content* to the right of the first <SELECT> dropdown change with the choices, not just for a new <SELECT> element to appear.
Can you do that ??
I forgot to mention that there's more info on EXACTLY & PRECISELY what I'm trying to acheive here :
