P570 - 128gb of real. Numfsbufs at 9216, yeah I know that is a lot but I am still getting i/o's blocked, like 1 million in 9 days. It is a Sybase reporting server. Any idea's?

Hey Man,
Each Lpar would have its own WLM config. Use a hyphen for shared. No additional S/W needed.
It is easier to use the gui interface (WSM) to setup WLM
than smitty.

In the classification rules of WLM, you can classify a userid, application path or apply a tag to get a process to run in the correct service class. To define an application path, the full pathname must be used in order for a particular process to run in the desired service class. I cannot get...
Can process priority be changed to a higher or lower WLM
service class on the fly? Like in a WLM 390 mainframe
environment to manage critical workloads?
