Some PCs not showing up in Workgroup
You need to make sure AVG allows File and Printer sharing, AVG disables this by default. I just ran into this myself on a server and that was the cause. A good 1st place to look.- mikey61

Which Better, Faster .... Workgroup Or Domain?
If you are having problems as you mention I personally would look at the network speed. I have seen 10Mbps networks croak on sending files of 2 megs in size. They hang, wang, and tang all over the place. You might also just need to use a switch instead of a hub. If you encounter alot of...- mikey61
