I believe that the internal user list will support 50 users, otherwise you could look at some sort of linux radius server, the 1230's are supposed to support radius servers besides the CiscoACS appliances.
With that said, I've got ACS servers here & I don't know diddly about setting up radius...
As Trey noted the bug/issue with login is listed as an open caveat in the relese notes on the driver disk that comes with the A/B/G cards.
But, realize that the current driver/Utility bundle is brand new (v1.0.0.30x) if you're using these cards like I'm being forced to, it's something we have...
Jug88 did you ever have any luck?
I'm in the same boat. I was gonna try to play with it tonight, maybe I'll have some luck. Maybe someone will notice this thread as active & give us some hints. I'll post again tomorrow if I get lucky.

Which version of XP is it? If it's home edition, even if you are logged in as the admin account, you don't have full permissions to the registry. I ran in to this setting up antivirus on an xp-home system. If the error lists a registry key check to see if you have permissions edit to that key...
Depending on what you plan to do with the report/export you can go to the msoft download page, there is a web interface that runs on IIS that will give you quite a few pre built reports and you can export them as .csv files. or just print them out.
Do you have any discovery methods configured? If you do and still aren't seeing any PC's, make sure you enable the proper subnets under network discovery (the subnets are automatically discovered but you must select the ones that you want to enable discovery for. This is just 1 thing to try...
I haven't had to use it over any slow wan links but you can schedule it to run discovery & inventories during off hours, if that term applies to you. As long as your users leave their machines on you can even push software at night. Bandwidth during the day shouldn't be a problem unless you...
I've got SMS2sp3 & also have wise installer, neither of which sees the changes I make to permissions on a registry key. Anyone done this?? Is it possible?? Thanks..
I use the wise installer for windows, it helps with bundling some apps, just adds extra over head for other MS apps.... You can pull a demo version from their site www.wisesolutions.com, but be aware the packaged app will only run on the machine it was packaged on.
Overall I like wise but I...
Haven't seen that msg exactly, welcome to hell ;), I use wise installer for windows but it only helps so much.
Do you have the latest windows installer on the 9x machines...
If that's the only problem you're having with your install, count yourself lucky.... but, if you have NT system policies on your NT domain you can set the default home page in there & that way anyone who pulls the profile will have the preset home page & you can push the rest of you package as...
A bad client install or having messed up site boundaries can cause this, or having domain controllers that are 2 busy to respond to the clients. I upgraded from SMSsp2 to sp3 & in the process about half my client's lost their link to my site server. In the end what seems to create all of the...

Hi,
For the first post in this header, if the CA software install has/had any switches available for the install you should be able to run something like a command line on the client to uninstall it. example.. c:\Compassoc\setup.exe /u or something it all depends on how the initial install...
