What software / hardware is required to upgrade the firmware in the Partner ACS controller. I downloaded the latest bin file from the Avaya web site for the Daylight Savings Time patch for R7, but I can't figure out what to do with this file.

I have installed unified messaging on Windows 2003 Server, Windows XP Professional, and Windows 2000 Professional computers. I suspect that it won't install on Windows XP Home computers, but I am not sure. I have also tried installing it on a Windows Vista Home computer without luck.

Is there any way to set the LAN address in Partner Messaging Release 1 without connecting to the RJ45 serial port on the Messaging Module?
