When a Norstar is set up for trunk-to-trunk transfer, are the incoming and outgoing trunks (analog) nailed up for the duration of the call? In other words, once the transfer is complete, are the trunks released and the connnection is established in the CO?
In the traditional PSTN configuration, the ILEC would provide CAMA trunks between each Local Serving Office and the 911 Center to deliver the calling party's address but I don't know how this function would be performed in an Enterprise VOIP configuration.
Has this been attempted by anyone?
