IllogicallyLogical, I have tried to install it both ways with the same results. I have also used the logger and it returns the same error.

I have been trying to install this update "Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 7 for Windows Vista (KB963027)" since the 14th of April. Every time I try to install it I get this "Code 80070643 Windows update encountered an unknown error". Can anyone help with this error?

There is not a security tab in the options screen. The only tabs I have are View, General, Edit, Print, Save, and Spelling.

No I am using my work computer, because the only place I can type is the address bar. I have cleared all forms and passwords with no luck. I have tried to use a restore point but that did not help either. I have also reset IE 7 with no luck.
