    you could also try using a dos based version of ghost to image the drive to a seperate drive and then use ghost again to restore the files to a different location.

    Finally managed to resolve the problem!!! Ended up removing the power, removing bios battery and resetting BIOS with the jumper. Left battery out for a full day before powering machine back on and setting the data / time within the bios. Now all OK Cheers

    Arcserve v7 backup problem

    Found out what the problem was!!! Arcserve 7 does not like talking to more than 1 client agent at a time, hence the backups failing. Client agents were removed from the servers that were failing and a successful backup was obtained without any problems.
