Avaya 9640 phone losing VPN settings
I haven't tried 3.2.8 but when I upgraded phone to 3.26A I found it was not compatible with certain broadband routers, some routers were OK The phone displayed the error VPN tunnel failure, “needs DNS server IP address” I then tried 3.25A then 3.23A then 3.22A still had the VPN tunnel failure...- Michael H

My company has about 350 homeworkers using Avaya 9640 phones configured for VPN. We have a problem where 3 or 4 phones a week will lose its VPN settings and display waiting for LLDP.
