The OS to all the machines is 2000 pro. Novell Client 4.83.83 sp2. Running both IP/IPX with NDPS. The actual error is: Cannot install printer, printer name is wrong or server not found. But it does download the driver.
I can add a printer to 4 out of 5 people. The one user that gets the connection error is in the same group(everyone) that gives users access. I even add them individually to the user role. Still unable to connect to server to finish the printer install.
I am using a third party product that works well. It is by Visual Click Software and is called DSMETER. It has a wide range of reporting capabilities. Their support is great. Their web site is www.visualclick.com. Good Luck.

From our experience the NIC card has to be remove from network and system in control panel and then reboot. The machine should find the card. Then you should set it up for your clients and protocols.
