Yup, that was it! Plugincpl131_02.cpl was still in the \System32 directory. I renamed it, and it went away. Funny, there's not a similar .cpl for j2re1.4.2, but that icon is still in the Control Panel. Any idea what the replacement might be? Thanks for the assist... I was about out of hair! -
