I have observed that tcp/ip stack in winxp when assigning locale ports for network applications is always increasing. The range start as low as 1000 and then it increases.
Linux local ports start from 32000. This causes less possibilty for port conflict.
How can I make WinXP work like...

TSI I htink is the Time System Interface interconnection feature I think.
Service for clock update is MD110 Time Service as eriuser states.
I agree with RFBOI, the IPU has no way to write EIC code to it (at least no standard procedure) and this is needed for the system to work OK.
The customer better buy your NIU card from you .
You would need to setup the CIL in the MD110 first including what to log and where to send it .
Then you should configure a call accounting application like TABS , Callmaster etc.
