have you set up a hosts file, I had this problem myself and discovered that it was a resolution problem. After editing the hosts file it has worked like a champ.

Ok I have finally accoplished connecting to some internal network shares with my vpn connection..now lets say that I want to open mail in outlook and and view and run other programs? What would be the procedure for this, do I need to create script or is there some other way.

Thanks for advice pixboy, there wasn't a lockout policy in place on this box. I enable auditing for success and failure of logon attempts. Maybe this will give some clue as to what is happening. Only happens with this one webserver. I have 2 others that have given me 0 problems.
