Thanks. OK. Here comes the long explanation. I am running Starfish 97. Have been for yeaqrs on XP professional. Last week, it stopped working. Wouldn't open. We had just had a server crash, adn we lost some things, so i decided to uninstall and reinstall. I couldnt install the program. The...- mboles

Thank you. I tried these steps. Also, it does not say that it cant find the cityinfo.dat file, but it has weird characters that i tried to descibe.- mboles

I've been through the forum pretty thouroghly i think, and I read about the error messages concerning cityinfo.dat. My problem is a bit different.
