I'm new at AE6, and I made my first title. It is just simple text, and I save it to an AVI, import it to Premiere Pro, but it's black background covers the video beneath it. How to you get rid of the black background in AE6 or Premeire Pro? Thanks.

Thanks Edward...I finally realized I needed to have keyframes showing on the audio timeline to use the trimming device. All is well now.

Sorry for the dumb newbie question. I know how to set keyframes on the timeline in Premiere Pro, but I can't figure out how to do it in After Effects 6.0. I can do different effects on a title (my first AE6 project), but I just can't figure out how you set the various keyframes. Duh.... Thanks.

Edward, I did try the video motion tool and it works great! I click one button called "Motion" on the Effects Controls tab, and I can use my cursor on the monitor as if it were a camera moving around the image. Now, this is cool! Thanks again for your help!
