Dell 2400 Server Problems
We had a very similar problem with our 2400 which came with a factory installed DDS4 drive. The tape drive would simply 'eat' tapes. Eventually (2 weeks?) DELL supplied a new SCSI card specifically for the DDS drive which solved all the problems. If this sounds familiar, I can get the details... -
