    Wrapping Text on a Object

    Object > Text Wrap. Your path you assign your wrap to needs to be brought to front and your text needs to be in a bound box (drawing a box with the text tool). All elements need to be on the same layer as well. Hope that helps.

    Exporting ai files as a psd not holding clipping masks.

    You'd have to open .psd file in Photoshop, unlock the group which should give you a path of the mask, then turn that path into a clipping path. When importing into Quark, set your picture box to recognize the Embedded Path. Might not be so efficient if you have multiple masks.

    If you are still losing your masks after selecting "Flat Image" in the "Options" section of the Photoshop Export dialog in Illustrator, then post what versions of ea. software you're running to better assist.

    If the open arrow tool (white arrow) is used before selecting the pen tool, holding command key reverts to the open arrow tool, letting you move points around.

    I got my EPSON scanner to work by setting Photoshop to "Open using Rosetta". Hope that helps.

    You need to make the 6 circles a compound path (Object > Compound Path > Make). Open the Pathfinder window (Window > Pathfinder). Then with the 6 circles on top or in front of the big circle, select all the circles and click the "Subtract from shape area" under Shape Modes (second box I think)...

    If you've taken the Support Essentials class recently the test should be a breeze. If not you can buy the text book and read it. http://www.peachpit.com/store/product.aspx?isbn=0321514963 I took the test for 10.4 and it consisted of 60 -80 questions, all multiple choice. Costs around $200

    Use spotlight to find: ToastIt.plugin and delete it. It should be in Users > Admin > Library > Caches.
