Thanks genomon,
I was trying the very inefficient 2-step approach of creating a new date field to calculate the date field + 14, and then using >and< on the old and new date fields. I haven’t used Access since 03. Thanks for the help and refresher.
I’m trying to set a Access2007 query criteria to return records when today’s date falls within a range of a database date field “Selection Made” + 14 days. I’m trying to get the records to show up in a report for 14 days after the date field “Selection Made” date. After the 14 days, the...
I'm trying to set a date field criteria in an Access 2007 query to only display records for a datefield's date + 14 days. It's been awhile and I can't seem to remember how to do this. I've only only found online references for today's date "Date() + 14". I need to return the date field's date +...
Here's another clue if it helps. When I use FY2008 dates ">#9/30/2007# And <#10/1/2008#", the query works and populates the table as expected. It's only when I use the FY2009 dates ">#9/30/2008# And <#10/1/2009#" that it gives me the "Scaling of decimal value resulted in data truncation."...
I’m trying to update an Access 2007 database with FY2009 data via ODBC. I’m using a simple make table query and setting criteria only on a date field. “>#9/30/2008# And <#10/1/2009#”
When I run the query, I keep getting this error. "Scaling of decimal value resulted in data truncation." I...
LB, thanks for your reply. The totals are not cumulative, and most days there is no change. The overall total rarely changes. I'm looking for a change in the categories. Example below:
Monday
Cat1 = 10
Cat2 = 10
Cat3 = 10
Total= 30
Tuesday
Cat1 = 11
Cat2 = 9
Cat3 = 10
Total= 30...
I'm trying to compare a previous report total to the current or refreshed total. For instance, the user opens the report and sees the previous day's total before the report is refreshed. Once the report is refreshed, I'm trying to flag any change in the totals. I don't need to flag the change...
Is it possible to put the selection dates into the title? When pulling records that fall between two dates, it would be nice to have the beginning and end date show up at the top of the page. Not necessarily the record dates, but the selection dates. I looked in Special Fields and found where to...
That's the switch I was looking for. I was looking in the Acrobat Writer settings instead of the print settings. The preview is now off.
Thanks very much for your help.

jmgalvin - Thanks for the quick response. I have looked for the checkbox or switch in Acrobat Writer before starting the conversions. I've checked in Options and Preferences, but can't seem to find it.
Thanks again for your reply.

Is there a way to turn off the preview of converted documents? I have to convert about 100 individual Access reports to PDFs, and having to close the Acrobat preview after each conversion really adds time to the job. Is there a switch for this? I can't find it. I'm using the older Acrobat 5.0...
tgreer,
Thanks for clearing that up for me. I also appreciate the link to your site, and your advice. It seems like to logical way to go.
Thanks again for your response.
