We upgraded from ArcServe 6 (Netware) to Brightstor ArcServe 9 (Netware). That part is fine, new backups and restores are OK.
An incident just arose where we need to restore from an older tape that had been backed up on this server using AS6. So the tape is not in the existing AS9 database...
I downloaded Client32 4.9 update "B" from both US download sites. Neither self-extracting EXE's (49pkb.exe) extract any files anywhere locally after typing "Y" after the Terms and Conditions text.
Also did a search for the file "_49pkb.INF" that it is supposed to...
I imagine either should support older hardware.
Never ISO-ed a CD before. Tried w/ EasyCD Creator earlier with no luck. Is there a trick to this?
Don't have a place to host the file, do you have one?
