    Try: Forms![My_SubForm].Refresh Also check that the data you enter on the subform has the related data populated - eg form contains authors & subform contains books written by that author, then make sure the new book record contains the correct author relation. Cath.

    Thanks Steve, This is very useful stuff! It doesnt seem to work with *.gif - I got caught by that. You will want to try *.ico!! Might help solve your problem Noah. Cath
