    Office for Mac compatible with Office for PC?

    I work in-house as a Graphic Designer and we are hoping to purchase a Mac for my use. We make extensive use of "Tasks" and "Calendar" on the PC network and it seems to be the stubbling block to my getting a Mac. Does anyone know if these features are cross-platform compatible? Thanks, Maig

    Why can't I see my images?

    I have an HTML email template set up and when I originally set it up I could see all the images in the Dreamweaver "Desgin" window. Once I had everything looking like I wanted, I changed all the links from relative to absolute so that the email would work. As soon as I changed the links to...

    Fatal error: main() ...

    This is weird, on my local site I have one INCLUDES folder but on the remote site there are two, one in all caps and one in lowercase. The one in lowercase does NOT have the compat.php50x.php file in it... Maig

    Fatal error: main() ...

    I just checked again and I'm still getting the same error but I missed part of the error... Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required '/.../includes/compat.php50x.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /.../includes/joomla.php on line 60

    Fatal error: main() ...

    Also, I checked the permissions on the local side and they are set to read and execute for Users/Groups but I'm not sure that would be the same on the remote site. Maig

    Fatal error: main() ...

    I'm not sure how to check that, I only have access to the remote server through Dreamweaver at this point. If I right click on the file and choose "Set Permissions" and set read and execute for User/Groups it gives me an error that says "Setting access properties failed for: (the file) I am...

    Fatal error: main() ...

    I looked and that file is there in the same directory as the joomla.php file. Maig.

    Fatal error: main() ...

    I have this site that I've been trying to move from one server to another. The site was built in Joomla and the database is on a Windows Server using MySQL. I have managed to transfer the database over to the new server and I have done the edits to the config file for the joomla part. This...

    2 Dimensional Array problems

    Well, I figured that question out but now I have a new problem. I have a class called CoordinatePairs, which is a simple class that has rows and columns, accessor methods for each and set methods for each. What I need to do is use this CoordinatePairs class in my Array class to set a value in a...

    PowerPoint - resizing a presentation

    Greetings, I created a PowerPoint presentation to be run on a 50" Plasma screen at an upcoming trade show. I have just been informed that they will only have a 42" Plasma screen at the show. Do I need to re-size the whole presentation? I created it at 1366px by 768px, and the 42" screen is only...

    Setting up a FILE port

    No, that is the problem it is not listed under ports. I just received an answer through the Adobe support pages though. You have to go into Ports, then choose add a new port, local port, and then type in FILE: then it sets it up properly. Thanks anyway!

    How do I set up a FILE port in Windows

    I want to print to a postscript file instead of the automatic PDF creation that Acrobat 7 installs. I can never remember how to do this! I search the forums to try and find the answer but I can't seem to find it. Can anyone remind me how to set this up? Thanks, Maig
