JDMiller,
According to Exact NJ, it does indeed. They have sent me a version that will work with my reseller license & I will road test it & see how it works. Thanks to Don for letting me know it still existed. Macola sales never got back to me, but I called NJ and tracked it down.
Progression 76300c SQL2000 sp4. Looking for EFT option for AP. Saw one option through Exact but have gotten no call back from Marty Loveless on specifications. Peak used to have one that worked well, but they are gone, as is the institutional memory that was there. Early progression used...
JDMiller:
Are you still wondering what to do? I can help with the Netware pervasive issue and upgrade path if you still want to proceed down that road and stay on your current pervasive server. If so, post back. I've been off this forum for at least 6 months, so I'm trying to catch up. We...
Me, too. I've been off the forum for a long time, but have a potential for forecasting for one of my customers that has been sitting on 100a for a long time. I saw 2 or 3 forecasting products on the companion partner section this week. Info on any would be appreciated. This is for an upgrade...
Did you check the screens database for the custom screen after deleting the group and custom screen set to be sure no "orphaned users" were still attached to that screenset? Then check your PWE tables to be sure there are no "orphaned users" in there. In older versions of macola, the...
Wow, Don, where did you find this arcane bit of knowledge? I've never seen this type of file & there's no infomine that I could find in macola about it. Maybe they should write it up, eh? Gold star for you!
Don, have you used SQL delta often enough to feel confident that it tracks everything? If so, it sounds like something everyone should have in their macola tool kit.
Did you try the epson driver per NEmacguy? Doesn't that 591 also have an emulation switch that you can set to epson or IBM proprinter (if memory serves me correctly)?
All other factors having been checked, you should try the default standard forms, usually 01 and 03. Does it happen to all...
You will have many issues doing this externally with only this update query. Better to do it in the macola user interface, print the POs, which will update QOO, etc, write the trx records, allow you to close and purge, etc. Sounds like you are overdue for major data cleanup. Unless you know...
Ewwwwwwwwwwwww.... dot matrix printing. Ick, ick, ick. The further you go down the upgraded OS path, the more problems there are with legacy printers. Is the okidata a network printer? Is it on a different server than the macola server? Is the print driver installed on the SERVER, not the...
Jonathan,
Did you find out if this is a bug? The source OE9999 is the confirm ship source. Because receipts, if returned to inventory, are done at the time of CM processing in OE, it apparently is doing this on confirm ship rollback because of how all the relevant files must be updated...
I'm just curious: what is your turn around time on order to ship? Are some of these components allocated to other orders already when your salespeople are checking to see if you can fulfill a particular order? If so, have you already generated a POP for the other customer? How would you know...
There are probably several ways to get the orphaned records, but I think it is usually from an aborted posting process, workstation lockup, etc. You can sometimes pull up these records in the OE enter orders screen and then they will delete themselves. However, if the order type is null...
Remember, you need both type and number linked because you can identical numbering sequences in B, M, Q, and O type orders. A long time ago, the oelincmt didn't purge properly, so if you've been on macola for a long time you might have old records in there that are orphans.
Also, if you have...
Have you checked out the gross requirements report in BOM? I'm not sure if it will blow through your product structure as far as you want to go.
Also, in OE setup there is a check component qty check box on page 2. Does this have any effect for your issue? It may slow other things down...
