I have a purchasing system which has a PO Number composed of the date, purchaser's initials, and if it is a second PO for the day it becomes 1, 2, 3, and so on.
So, for example if on 7/29/2004, Bob Thornton was going to make his second purchase order form of the day, his PO number would be...
Awww, now when I print, instead of displaying each portal row, it displays the same row twice. Any ideas why this is happening? I can't print from the file the data is in, need to print the portal rows as they are members of a purchase order
Thanks JeanW, I needed to create additional records through the portal, but I got around this by scripting hte print to an alternate printing page with a duplicate relatiosnhip that did not allow creation of portal records. Thanks very much
I've got a database that displays 4 portal rows. However some records only need 2 rows, yet when we print there is a 3rd empty row displayed (the one where you'd put the next portal row in)
How do I make it so that this row doesn't show? Limiting it to displaying 2 rows is not an option since...

I have First Name and Last Name combined in a calculation in two files.
Can I use this calculation as my primary key in a relationship?
what is a way around this? I don't have any other possible primary keys
I've got a database with vital customer information for our company but the last person left without leaving the password to access certain layouts. is there any program that can crack the password for this? seems simple enough
I want to combine the fields First and Last name into one field called Full name. I tried using a calculation but the field stays empty for some reason
What am I doing wrong?
I have a DB with Invoices that contains a portal to a DB with Line Items.
For each part number, there are two fields specific to that part which I'd like to automatically fill in. I have a part number database which contains records for each part number and values for the 2 specific fields...
Your statements are correct. I see where I was unclear now.
There is a count for how many of each item is purchased for that line, as you said.
To clarify, I want a grand total of each item. In other words I want to know how many of item x customer y has purchased in his whole history across...
