thanks for all the guidance etc and as this has taken so long to go no-where, it has been decided by the Management to use on of the existing on-site call loggers....
Can I be directed to where the info is relating to the End of Life for Meridian Mail. I have trawled through the Nortel E O L web site and found nothing.....
thanks in advance
ok, I have read that info from Error Commands and was confused by it as it really does not explain anything and wanted to ensure that by ignoring it, it will not cause any problems that needed to be dealt with.
As this is via a remote modem, all I can do is copy what I see.
OVL0000
044 BKGD
OVL111 11/10/07 14:41:02 500750077
TTY 05 SCH MTC 14:41
(this appears several times)
AUD000 11/10/07 14:41:16
After Logging In
OVL000 Appears several times
then DTC0001 11/10/07 14:48
thats it.
Yes, and I have checked almost every posting on 'modems' that is on the site. I have tried to 'send' almost every command that has been posted to this modem and I get 'ERROR' on most.
I am trying to connect US Robotics 56k Faxmodem to Opt 11.
This modem does not have any dip switches and I am using Hyperterminal to connect. Trying to use the AT commands one at a time, this is what I get on my PC. Please note that I am in the UK, so it may be that the at&b1 command is not...
thanks for the suggestions and but the CP option is a long way off. Are there any other ideas for getting the current Mer Mail to do this or just go with what has already been offered ?
