turn off the Power
take the cover of the computer
look at the back of the hard drive
you will see a gray cable with a red strip
it gose to pin one.check the Jumper on the back of the
drive make sure that is set to master
Put cover back on...

pug it in and install
reboot into windows
shutdown
wait for five minies
boot it up
still not working
pull out the usb cable and put back in
and if it works
usb still not working
check Device Manager
Device Manager can give a report saying...
I think you are talking about win log box
with (ie programe name.exe) if that is the problem
You have some old sofware or bugs on your system
bad hard disk with bad tracks
you have mbr go out and get a ext hard drive
backup your system and format
try rebooting system

use windows98 bootup disk
Type A:fdisk
press y
press 4 to view partition
press 3
Delete Primary dos partition
press Esc
press 1 to make a new partition
Get out of fdisk
reboot the computer with a boot disk
next step
use oformat or format
A:oformat C:
do it 2 times
If this dose not work
change...
red to pin 1
remove floppy disk
change bootup setup D: C: A:
install using cd
change the setting back to A: C: D:
untill you get it fix
get a file called mscdex.exe copy it to the path off C:it might be a cable problem
what format C:/s all it dose is bakup system file
to format a computer right fdisk next format
to get the hard disk need to use a windows 98 bootup
disk type A:fisk read sceen press 4 to view disk
press3 read screen

pci card frist time when you install them night have
problems we are running usb2&1 ports are working ok
If the Pci card dose not work frist time restall it
