Fran5 yes errors are exactly same on 4 servers we have all different builds some NT4 some win2k. we upgraded from BABv7 to BABv9 to see if resolved, run sys monitors on CPU RAM and Virtual memory to check if this is reason no issues indicated no resolution. SO AWAIT YOUR RESULTS SENDING ERRORS...

oh i c rabowsm1 thanks should have specified it is the BABv9 and only relates to the DR recovery type, the full backup works ok. the answer was straight from CA engineer so i can only assume they are right? good to know it does work for BABv7 think that what you were refering to with sp5 comments
