    Solved!!! For some reason, I have to input the router network key for each user into the wireless card, when logged on as that user. Stupid me, I installed this wireless card awhile back, replacing a hard wire connection to the router. A fresh mind today and your suggestion of the card settings...

    Thanks for the reply. Settings for the wireless card are identical. Been doing some more checking, logging off on on again is a right pain, but got to be done. Found that I cannot access router with new Power account or old admin account either, weirder and weirder! I must stupidly be missing...
