Hi,
Is anyone aware of a way around the limit of only being able to have 5 people print at a time to a printer that has been shared over a network on a Win2k machine?
I would have thought that there would be a registry hack or something more simple.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Cheers,
I run a 1.4ghz athlon at home with a fan the same size as what is in your standard power supply. When I first got it, it was running at about 57 degrees celcius when idle (durning winter) and about 64 Degrees celcius after playing games for a few hours. We are now in our summer here (which is in...
Ok, first of all I know there are 4 or 5 threads on this subject, but I couldn't find the answer to my question.
As the subject suggests I want to Dual boot XP and ME (I have installed XP on 5gb drive and ME on 10gb drive. The 5gb drive is Primary Master, and 10gb drive is Primary Slave), from...
I've had this problem to. It turned out to be (As someone already suggested) the version of Direct CD. Upgraded to version 3.xx and the problem was fixed.
Cheers.
Hi,
I'm trying to install Windows 2000 Pro on a computer. It runs all 4 floppy disks then asks for the CD, then comes up with the error "setup cannot find the end user licience agreement (eula)". I know the EULA is on the CD but still the error. And it doesn't let me go any further...
Thanks for your Responces,
That basically worked except that the "Training" username that I created is a member of the Standard Domain Users group as well, and so some of the settings that are applied to the Standard Domain Users group are also applied to the Training Username. If I...
I have had the very same problem, and even if the program is installed while the computer is logged in as an account with admin privlidges.
Something I've found that works is under admin mode, using ICQ as a prime example in this case.
If you go the the "ICQ folder" in "Program...
I have created a new group policy and want to Apply it to a specific username. (training)
I have this set up already for another account (patron) but I want them totally seperate from each other.
I was wondering if anyone could give me some direction on this.
Thanks
We are running Windows 2000 Server with IIS. With workstations running Windows 2000.
My problem is that Windows Media Player & Real Player won't connect to the network to play video's/stream data.
What are the settings supposed to be set at in the programs (I have tried all different...
I did actually install it via the administrator mode. The stupid thing is on the public machine under the "patron" mode (the secured account) Direct CD works fine.
I'm thinking about installing the non "HP" version of Windows 2000 instead of the disk that comes with the...
We have a very similar setup. Win2k Server, Win2k Workstations and 2 Macs. The server is setup with Apple Talk Protocol. I didn't set it up but I know that the Mac's access the Win2k server via BootP, which assign's IP's to the mac's.
Hope this gives you some ideas.
