In the Powerplay Enterprise - Server Administration, I am trying to connect to the server. I get the following error " An Access Manager Service Failure has Occured".
Can someone please help with this?
I have configed the Directory Server to use Active Directory. But if I add in a user in the Access Manager it does not show up in Active Directory. I none of the users from Active Directory show up in the Access Manager.
Am I missing something?
I also wanted to add that my cognos server and my active directory server are the same machine. I assume this should not be a problem at all.

I followed your email and set it up just the way you have it. I still can not connect to the Active Directory. I'm getting the following error: "We were not able to connect to the Directory Server, are your host and port correct"
which they are. and I check port 389 it...
I'm looking for some help on setting up Active Directory and Cognos. When I try to configre my Directory Server as Active Directory I get an error that it was unable to connect. Any help on this would help.
