I need to install a UMAX astra 600s scanner on a MAC running OS 9.2.1 and don't know how to do it. I know how on a PC but never have installed any kind of peripheral on a MAC. Can someone give me a hand? Thanks, Lisa

I'm a novice when it comes to a MAC and would like to know how and what sort of steps are taken to do routine maintenance. Such as on a PC you would empty the Temp folder, run scandisk, defrag and so on. Can anybody give me some tips? Thanks, Lisa

The printer doesn't have the "draft" box checked just the "background printing" and "paper resize" boxes checked under printing options. Lisa

I've recieved a zip disk formatted for a MAC and I'm on a PC. When my zip drive attempts to read it,of course it wants to format it for a PC. I'll lose the data on the disk and I can't do that. Anybody have any ideas on how to read this disk from my PC without formatting it? Thanks, Lisa
