OK, ignore my post, I found the answer. Start -> Administrative tools -> Windows NT diagnostics go to the version tab- LisaGoddard

DNS and MX records
The Domain Name Server that you are querying is not the SOA for that domain name. Your response that you get may have the IP address and name of the server that is SOA for the domain name you are asking about.. example: You can then try doing an ns lookup with "server...- LisaGoddard
