AMD K62 desktop won't boot
Good News, After reading your reply I went back to work, removed processor and cleaned it up, it was a little dusty. Put processor back in, turned it on and it booted!!! It gave me a low CMOS battery warning and had to reset my BIOS, but I can live with buying a new CMOS battery if I need to...- lewiscr1

AMD K62 desktop won't boot
I have a AMD K62 system running a 550Mhz system, 128 mb NVRAM, 17 GB HDD, and PC100 motherboard. Currently its a bookshelf as it won't boot up. I think I remember a quick error flashing on screen and PC shut down. Since then when trying to boot I hit the power button, lights come on HDD...- lewiscr1
