yes it did actually come with drivers, the manual said it didn't need any for 2000/Xp. I tried to install all of them anywayz, but it still doesn't work. I tried scaning in the Computer management, but with no luck. many thanks.- leoman777

nah it doesn't show as a regular drive, but as a generic usb disk. i would love to format it, if i actually could... many thanks- leoman777

Hi, I have a problem - I just bought a HDD case, inserted my HDD and connected to the PC. The PC recognizes it as a GENERIC USB DISK USB DEVICE (note, with out a letter), but the icon of the "removable disk" does not appear in my computer.
