I finally got it to work, I have changes both scan setting to custom like what in the screen shop and rescanned the Item and it start working, thanks you both for all your help, much appreciated G

Yes I use menu level but its all level that meat it active all time, also yes I can ring up item using the button on the screen,

I have all my setting configure similarly, but when I scan the Item the barcode show up at the top of the screen, and then give me the same error.

I am using a workstation 5 and a micros Serial Scanner

I am setting up a barcode scanner on Micros 3700,v5.4 but I am have a issue getting it to work, I use MP to assign the barcode to the menu item but when I scan a menu Item in the workstation it says (Menu Item not found) can some one help on this issue. Thanks G
