    Cisco CUCM/2951 Gateway Quick Question

I had a quick question on transferring to the PSTN. If I get an inbound call to my ext.5150 Then transfer to the PSTN DID of another ext to the desk next to me ext.248-XXX-4500. (Just for argument sake) On my 2951 Router; I would have 3 calls correct? 1. The original inbound 2. The...

    Avaya Call Center with CUCM?

I used to work on an Avaya, but it has been a while. We had CMS R16 with Avaya Aura. My question what is the current...latest Call Center Solution and can it work with Cisco Call Manager...and if so does it work just like a normal call center or are there pieces you cannot use? I remember...

    Do I really need CER?

I am running CUCM 10.5. I have one building and 5 floors. Company is in Michigan and as of Dec 31 2016 I need to be E911 compliant. Do I really have to shell out $$ for another server (CER)? Nothing native in Call Manager can do this for me? I understand if I had multiple buildings or...

    Last CUCM reboot

Found this online. Have not tried it myself sorry. Download the install/upgrade logs from the Cisco Unified Real-Time Monitoring Tool (RTMT), and gather the system-history.log. or Enter the file view install system-history.log command on the command-line interface (CLI). Examine each...

    Active Partition 96%

Hello again all! I just recently upgraded my CUCM 9.1 to 10.5 and it went very smooth. But have noticed an error on RTMT that I am currently at 96% on the active partition. I called CISCO TAC and their main suggestion was to rebuild the PUB from their OVA. They claimed that since I had...

    Upgrading 9.1.2 to 10.5

I am going to not upgrade them ahead of time. But Once the PUB comes up on 10.5 I plan on changing the default settings for firmware on the phones. That way I can have them register and not need to download firmware right away and I can do that at a later date. Thanks again for all the help.

    Upgrading 9.1.2 to 10.5

Thanks again for all the help. The more I read the more I think I may not be ready lol. If I am upgrading my existing cluster as described...will I have issue with my ITL files? Or does that stay the same? I don't want to go around to 1500 phones and have to manually delete the file. And...

    Upgrading 9.1.2 to 10.5

Thanks for all the help! Last question. I have read I need to add some COP files before upgrading. Can I do that a week before the upgrade or should I do it right before?

    Upgrading 9.1.2 to 10.5

We have phones registered to both Sub's at the moment. We plan on doing the PUB first, then the 1 sub and TFTP server. Hopefully everything falls over to the 2nd SUB. Then once they are all set we will upgrade the 2nd Sub. About the licensee. We have not upgraded them yet...we planned on...

    Upgrading 9.1.2 to 10.5

I am going to be upgrading my CUCM. I have not done it before and am just a network guy :) We currently have 1 PUB, 2 SUB's and a TFTP server. I think I have all the documentation needed but am a little fuzzy on a couple things.... I know to upgrade the PUB first. But after that should I...

    CUCM9.1 and MGCP issue

We are ordering an upgrade to the MPLS circuit as we speak. I was just hoping I could somehow ask my network guy to carve out some spare on the circuit for these keep alive packets.
