    Very similar to MySQL, MS SQL uses isql as a command line utility for general SQL manipulation. However, if you want to import data then you are best to use the bcp utility. I'm not 100% sure if you need the client tools installed on your local pc though? Search Microsoft's Knowledgebase web...
