I have the same problem. I have not found a solution yet. I am on SP3 as well. I have noticed that if I let the error go on too long, people start having calendar issues, especially those that have access to other users calendars.

If I remember correctly, all I had to do was stop the ArcServe services (mainly the database service) and rename the database folder under the ArcServe folder. Recreate the database folder and CA emailed me a zipped file which contained the necessary files to place in the new database folder.
